Margaret Elizabeth Holland, daughter of the late Aaron Guile and Mabel Irene Wagoner Cookson, was born December 29, 1933, in Bloomfield, Missouri and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on May 7, 2010, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 8 days. Mrs. Holland had lived in Bloomfield all her life. She was a member of the General Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Roy Holland and Bobby Holland both of Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Gail Trout of Bloomfield, Missouri; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Swindell of Creve Coeur, Missouri, Freida Alexander of West Plains, Missouri; five brothers, Joe Cookson of Dearborn, Michigan, Harold Cookson of Creve Coeur, Missouri, Howard Cookson of Troy, Missouri, Beauford Cookson of St. Louis, Missouri and Bonnie Cookson of Viburum, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son and one grandson. Friends may call on Monday, May 10, 2010, after 1:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Graveside Funeral services will be on Monday, May 10, 2010, at 3:00 PM in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Don Lafferty of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
