Margaret L. Fisher, the daughter of the late William M. Fisher and Carrie Wilson Fisher was born in Sikeston, Missouri on August 12, 1918 and passed away at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter, Missouri on November 23, 2005, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 8 days.
She was a long time member of and served as a Sunday school teacher at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, Missouri. She retired after 43 years of service with Southwestern Bell in Sikeston and St. Louis.
She is survived by: A niece Martha Webb of Dexter, Missouri, A cousin Shirley Cummins of Millstadt, Illinois who raised with Margaret. Also she is survived by three very special friends, Doris Biggs, Glenda Williamson and Tonya Jones. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother Emmett and a sister Mrs. W.F. (Frances) Webb and nephew W. F. (Bill) Webb, Jr.
Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, November 28, 2005, at 4:00 until time of service.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005, at 6:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
