Marceline Ward

Marceline Ward, daughter of the late Harley and Margret Billings Nave, was born in Essex, Missouri on February 11, 1940, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on December 27, 2010, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 16 days. Mrs. Ward had lived in the Morehouse, Missouri area most of her life. She was of the Baptist Faith. She had worked as a furniture assembler at the Himmelberger-Harrison plant in Morehouse, Missouri. On October 6, 2000, she was married to Elvis Sherman Ward. He preceded her in death in December of 2000. Surviving are one son, Clayton Barker of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Sheila Graham of Morehouse, Missouri; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one brother, Alfred Nave of Nebraska. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank & Curtis Nave, and three sisters, Vera Daily, Jeannett Baker and Mary Nave. Friends may call after 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 28, 2010, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Morehouse with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
