Majorie Zimmerman

Marjorie O. Zimmerman, daughter of the late Martin Andrew and Cora May Churchill Renfro, was born in Atkins, Arkansas on June 14, 1919, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on June 6, 2010, at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 23 days. She had lived in Cherokee Village, Arkansas and Bloomington, California before returning to Dexter, Missouri many years ago. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church in Dexter, Missouri. On February 20, 1999, she was married to Lloyd Edward Zimmerman in Dexter, Missouri. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Edward Zimmerman of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Olivia Ann Blecka of Bermuda Dunes, California; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Ella Dean Swallows of Asherville, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Dean McDaniel; four brothers, Elmo, Edward Carl, James Leo & Kenneth Dea Renfro; and two sisters, Francis Coralee Renfro and Gertrude Renfro. Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2010, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be held Friday, June 11, 2010, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Roger Wooten of Dexter, Missouri and the Rev. John Humbert of Bernie, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
