Magaret Dejournett

Margaret DeJournett, the daughter of the late Henry and Thella Moore Popps, was born in Mio, Michigan on July 30, 1930 and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 18, 2006, at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 6 days. Mrs. Dejournett was a homemaker. She was a resident of Michigan for 30 years before moving back to Dexter in 1982. She was of the Baptist faith. On June 13, 1947 she was married to Marvin DeJournett at Piggott, Arkansas. Surviving are her husband: Marvin DeJournett of Dexter, Missouri and one sister: Betty Sibley of Michigan. Other friends and relatives also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006, at 11:00 AM at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Gerald King of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
