Mabel C McGowen

Mabel C. McGowen, 99, of Puxico, Missouri passed away August 9, 2020 at The Puxico Nusing Rehab Center, in Puxico. Mabel was born in Dudley, Missouri, daughter of the late Francis and Cloe Hazel Hargrove Hobbs. She was a homemaker and lived in Puxico all her life she enjoyed quilts and her family and was a member of the Hobbs Chapel Church. Mabel is survived by her children, son and spouse Jerry (Larna) McGowen of Dudley; daughter Linda Diane McGowen of Puxico; one sister and spouse, Wanda (Bill) Nash of Dexter; Other family and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents three brothers, and two sisters. Friends may visit Wednesday, August 12, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Hobbs Chapel Church near Dudley, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hobbs Chapel Church near Dudley with the Rev.David Dee of Sikeston, Missouri officiating. Interment with be in the Hobbs Chapel Cemetery near Dudley, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
