Louise Banks, daughter of the late Fred & Verdie Evans Harper, was born in Idalia, Missouri on January 24, 1923, and passed away at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri on December 24, 2010, at the age of 87 years and 11 months.
Mrs. Banks had lived in the Bloomfield, Missouri area all of her life. She was a member of the Link Church near Bloomfield, Missouri.
On May 16, 1940, she was married to William Thomas Banks in Idalia, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2006.
Surviving are two sons, Bob Banks of Bloomfield, Missouri, Bill Banks of Seattle, Washington; one daughter, Dorothy Schonlau of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Banken of Dexter, Missouri; one brother, Charles Harper of Springfield, Missouri; and one uncle, George Evans of Central Point, Oregon. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jimmy Schonlau; and four brothers, Ray Gene, Edward, Hershel and Roy Harper.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010, at 12:00 PM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Sue Welborn of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
