Louis "Mose" Robinson, son of the late Bill and Bertie Kirby Robinson, was born in Idalia, Missouri on March 8, 1920, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on July 23, 2011, at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 15 days.
Mr. Robinson had worked in St. Louis, Missouri at the Krey Packing Co. from 1947 until retiring in 1977. He moved to Bloomfield in 1981 and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On May 4, 1966, he was married to Florence M. Cole Souders in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Surviving are his wife, Florence M. Robinson of Bloomfield, Missouri; three sons, Sam Robinson of Glen Allen, Missouri, Danny Robinson of Orlando, Florida, Dennis Souders of Villa Ridge, Missouri; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Erma Lee Bailey of Hollywood, Florida. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Robinson, and three sisters, Lela Hester, Wilma "Kate" Hester and Mildred Harris.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, after 9:30 am at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 11:00 am in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
