Louie Watson

Louie William "Pete" Watson, son of the late Triss and Fannie Lane Watson, was born near Bernie, Missouri on March 8, 1924, and passed away at the Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas, Missouri on July 27, 2013, at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 19 days. Mr. Watson, a resident of Dexter, had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri the majority of his life. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. On December 1, 1944, he was married to Bonnie Jean Wilmath in Piggott, Arkansas. Surviving are his wife of 671/2 years, Bonnie Jean Watson of Dexter, Missouri; two sons and wife, Larry Watson of Bloomfield, Mike & Judy Watson of Benton, Arkansas; two daughters and husbands, Brenda & Buck Hamlin of Pevely, Missouri, Saundra & Glynn Holt of Jefferson City, Missouri; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Lamunion and Beautone Smith; and five brothers, Bob, Jerry, Jack, Gary and Bill Watson. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by one sister, Coleen Watson, and three brothers, Everett, Chester and Jim Watson. Friends may call on Monday, July 29, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Ron Dunivan of Monette, Arkansas officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
