Louella Lee, daughter of the late Moses Burton and Ruth Victoria Russell Elledge, was born in Mingo, Missouri on December 31, 1935, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on May 17, 2010, at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 10 days. She had lived in the Puxico, Missouri area all of her life. She was a former member of the Corinth General Baptist Church and after moving to Puxico she transfered membership to the First Christian Church in Puxico, Missouri, member of the Puhicah Club, and was a board member of the Puxico Development Corporation. Through the years she had been an usher and popped corn at the Star Theater in Puxico, owned Lee's Town & Country, Lee's Florist and Lee's Tie Yard. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and craft work. On March 1, 1952 she was married to Vern D. Lee in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 15, 1993. Surviving are three daughters and spouses, Valerie Kay McGregor of Branson, Missouri, Ann & Clyde Campbell and Stacy Dawn & Jay Brittain all of Puxico, Missouri; six grandchildren & spouses, Holly & Shawn Reed, Angela & Austin Kime, Todd & Sara McGregor, Wade & Ashley McGregor, Dara & Danny Alexander, Ethan Brittian; six great grandchildren, Thad McGregor, Morgan McGregor, Delaney Alexander, Dylan Alexander, Brooke Reed and Jacksyn McGregor; three sisters, Mildred Wheetley of Puxico, Missouri, Virginia Prince and Mary Wiseman both of Cardwell, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Elledge. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 19, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
