Lola Morgan

Lola Maxine Morgan, the daughter of the late Doy Sylvester and Gladys Douglas Henderson Morgan, was born in Jasper, Arkansas on April 20, 1943, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on August 24, 2008, at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 4 days. Ms. Morgan had lived in Arkansas and Sikeston, Missouri before moving to Dexter in 1965. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She had worked at the Dexter Nursing Center as a housekeeper. Surviving are her care giver, Carolyn Casey of Dexter, Missouri, several relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Orville Ray Morgan, and one sister, Jessie Lee Morgan. Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Wednesday August 27, 2008, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Karen Oldham of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
