Lois J. Wilson of Dexter, daughter of the late Elmer T. and Henrietta Owens Hammonds, was born on Febuary 12, 1932, in Bernie, Missouri and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on January 18, 2018, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 6 days.
She had lived in St. Charles, Illinois until she retired and moved to Dexter. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dexter.
On April 3, 1948 she married the love of he life and bestfriend Alfred Thomas Wilson, and passed away November 12, 2004 and she missed him dearly..
Surviving are one son, Alfred Wilson of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Dedee Webb of Dexter, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Wilson and two brothers, Billy & Rupert Hammonds.
Visitations may be made on Tuesday, January 23, 2017, after 12:00 p.m. until time for services at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Rev. Mike Kohlbaker of Dexter will officiate.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
