Lois Morgan

Lois Morgan, the daughter of the late Charles and Effie Lindsey Clements, was born in Campbell, Missouri on November 28, 1913, and passed away at the Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center in Puxico, Missouri on September 27, 2007, at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 30 days. Mrs. Morgan had lived in had spent 15 years in St. Louis before moving to Puxico in the 1980's. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church near Puxico, Missouri. On March 11, 1933, she was married to Marion Francis Morgan in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1963. Surviving are one son, Paul Morgan of Puxico, Missouri; one daughter, Jo Anne Morgan of Puxico, Missouri; four grandchildren, Daniel Morgan, Scott Morgan, Kimberly Fuwell, Paula Wilson; seven great grandchildren, Mathew Morgan, Andrew Fewell, Alexander Wilson, Autum Fuwell, Ashli Morgan and Abbie Wilson. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Morgan. Friends may call on Saturday, September 29, 2007, after 1:00 P.M. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
