Lloyd Earnest DeJournett

Lloyd E. DeJournett, son of the late Marshall Seymore and Mary Mae Annis DeJournett, was born near Grayridge, Missouri on May 15, 1935, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on August 6, 2007, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 22 days. Mr. DeJournett had lived in the Essex and Dexter area all his life. He had worked as a Farmer. Surviving are two brothers, Marvin DeJournett of Dexter, Missouri, Wiley DeJournett of Essex, Missouri; and one sister, Kathleen Givens of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two children, Marshall Earnest DeJournett, Marsha D. DeJournett and four brothers, Milo, Woodrow, Clemmer, and Cleo DeJournett. Private Family Graveside services will be held at a later date. Interment will follow in the Bluff Cemetery in Idalia, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
