Linda Marie Doerschlen

Linda Marie "Lindy" Doerschlen Linda Marie Doerschlen of Dexter, daughter of the late Colonel Eddy Jack and Betty Jane Fisher Doerschlen, was born on November 25, 1955, and passed away at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 23, 2020, at the age of 64 years. She grew up as a military brat and settled in Dexter in 1981. Lindy was in the Poetry Club, Bicycle Club, and loved baking, sewing, gardening, pressing flowers and writing letters to friends and family. Surviving her; one daughter, Bettina (Andy) Comstock of Perryville, Missouri; four grandchildren; Amari Moore, Treven Comstock, Adam Comstock, and Alex Comstock; one sister, Laurie Ann Doerschlen (Tim) of Honolulu, Hawaii; one brother, Martin "Rocky" Leon (Sara Lee) of Tucson, Arizona; and her life long partner, Trevor Charles Arathoon. She was preceded in death by parents Colonel Eddy Jack and Betty Jane Doerschlen; two sisters, Debbie Doerschlen and one in infancy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery with the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of all the arrangements.
