Lina Pinkston was born on February 28, 1931, in Frankfurt, Germany and passed away on November 4, 2013, at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 7 days.
She had lived in St. Louis before moving to the Bloomfield area 40 years ago.. She was a member of the Beech Grove General Baptist Church. She was the past president of the Eagles Auxiliary in Wappapello.
On January 12, 1992, she was married to Bryan Pinkston in Bloomfield, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan Pinkston of Bloomfield; one daughter, Barbara Ratz of Columbia, Illinois; one son, Raymond Gallagher of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Angelita Hernandez and Jared Gallagher; two brothers in Germany. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elfrieda Fieves.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at
the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Thursday November 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Little Bushy Cemetery near Wappapello, Missouri with
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
