Lillie Lee

Lillie Edith Lee, daughter of the late Wesley and Stella Jane Vaught Pettit, was born in Texas County, Missouri on July 5, 1912, and passed away at the Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on January 8, 2010, at the age of 97 years, 6 months and 3 days. She had lived in Dudley, Missouri most of her life, she moved to St. Charles, Missouri in 1999. She had attended the Dudley Church of Christ. She was married to Thomas Gilbert Lee in Marble Hill, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2002. Surviving are five sons, Robert Lee of Wappapello, Missouri, Albert Vance Lee and Marshall Lee both of Pensacola, Florida, Gary Lee of St. Charles, Missouri, Wendell Lee of Cushman, Arkansas, one daugher, Eunice Firle of Florissant, Missouri, 17 grandchilren; 28 great grandchildren: and nine great great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Casper Lee; two brothers, Casper and Albert Pettit; two sisters, Bertha Montgomery and Ruby Clegg. Visitation will be Sunday, January 10, 2010, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be held Monday, January 11, 2010, 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Dale Grissom of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dudley Cemetery in Dudley, Misouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
