Leroy W. Cato Leroy W. Cato, the son of the late Harrison and Dorothy Swick Cato, was born in Zalma, Missouri on December 29, 1936, and passed away at his home in Puxico, Missouri on October 4, 2007, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 6 days. Mr. Cato had lived in the Puxico and Zalma area all his life. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Delta Asphalt. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Asherville and a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed working on his farm. On November 10, 1956 he was married to Betty Bowling in Brownwood, Missouri. Surviving are his wife Betty Cato of Puxico, Missouri. One son: Randy Cato and his wife Dinae of Puxico. Two brothers: Hubert Cato of Troy, Missouri and Bill Cato of Dexter, Missouri. One Sister: Kathryn Brown of Sedgewickville, Missouri. One grand-daughter Brooke Cato. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Friends may call on Saturday October 6, 2007 after 6:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 7, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri with the Bro. Terry Stockman of Sikeston, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
