Lena Mae Williams, the daughter of the late Bedford P. and Lillian Brickers Landers, was born in Des Ark, Arkansas on September 11, 1914, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on February 1, 2007, at the age of 92 years, 4 months and 21 days. Mrs. Williams had lived Southeast Missouri most of her life and moved from Sikeston to Bloomfield in 1984. She had worked at the Shuffit Nursing Home as a CNA and had also farmed. She attended the First Assembly of God in Bloomfield, Missouri. In 1934, she was married to Robert M. Williams. He preceded her in death in 1947. Surviving are one son, Ronald Williams of Bloomfield, Missouri, one daughter, Barbara Williams of Bloomfield, Missouri, one grandson, Jason Robert Williams of Bloomfield, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Lester and Weston Landers. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:30 PM on Friday, February 2, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with the Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
