Lena Mae Patterson, daughter of the late Dempsey and Flora blocker Frymire, was born in Grassy, Missouri on May 21, 1955, and passed away at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 13, 2011, at the age of 55 years, 8 months and 23 days.
She had lived in the area all her life. She had worked as a cook at Cow Town and Elderland Restaurants.
On January 1, 2000, she was married to Sam Patterson in Advance, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Patterson of Bloomfield, Missouri; one son, Jason Marrs of Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Tara Weber of Dexter, Missouri; two step-sons, Jason Patterson of Kewanee, Illinois, Jeremy Patterson of Chaffee, Missouri; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard Frymire, Steve Frymire, Jimmy Frymire all of Bloomfield, Missouri; two sisters, Veda Adams of Bloomfield, Missouri, Kay Gant of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Freda McAnally and one brother, Dempsey Frymire, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, after 1:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
