Lee Vaughn of Dexter, Missouri, son of the late Arthur Lee & Ruby Edna Maze, was born near Dexter on December 18, 1936, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield Missouri, on June 13, 2016, at the age of 79 years, 5 months, and 26 days.
Lee had lived in Dexter for many years. He has served in the U. S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He had been a farmer and had worked at Chrisman Oil.
Surviving are one son, Jason Vaughn of Dexter; four brothers & wives, Jerry (Devosha) Vaughn, Randy (Rebecca) Vaughn all of Dexter, Ronnie (Neva) Vaughn of Holy Rood, Kansas, Dale (Debbie) Vaughn of Essex; four sisters, Betty Horn of Bloomfield, Rose Champion of Iola, Kansas, Sharon Gaughn & husband Jack of Billings, Montana, and Barbara Davis & husband Jeff of Glen Allen. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Link, three brothers, Bud, Gene and Larry Vaughn.
Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday June 16. 2016 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Daniel Martin of Bloomfield officiating with iInterment to follow.
