Leatrice L. Ostler, daughter of the late Guy E. and Doris F. Sibert Morse, was born in Mitchell, Nebraska on May 24, 1920, and passed away at the Westwood Hills Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 4, 2013, at the age of 93 years.
She had lived in Puxico before moving to Poplar Bluff in 1991. She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff.
On April 26, 1937, she was married to George Harlan Ostler in Logan, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1993.
Surviving are one daughter, Judith L. Marlin of Seymour, Missouri; two grandsons, Michael Stillings of Fordland, Missouri, George Beck of Seymour, Missouri; one granddaugher, and spouse, Melinda (Dennis) Alford of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three great grandsons, Justin, Ethan and Nathan Alford all of Poplar Bluff; three great granddaughters, Jennifer Marlin of Poplar Bluff, Betsy and Lacy Beck of Van Buren. Other family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Saturday July 6, 2013, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Graveside Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Doug McClellan of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
