Leah Mae Robertson, daughter of the late Autie A. and Ora Bailey Almond, was born in Aid, Missouri on November 8, 1934, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on October 8, 2010, at the age of 75.
Mrs. Robertson had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She was baptized and saved and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
In 1967, she was married to Jim Robertson. He preceded her in death in May of 1991.
Surviving are three sons and daughter in law, James Warren of Fort Worth, Texas, Ronnie & Candy Warren of Puxico, Missouri, Keith Robertson of Bloomfield, Missouri; one sister, Thelma Underwood of Puxico, Missouri; one brother, Charles Almond of Portland, Oregon; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special thanks to Mike & Becky Almond as care givers over the past several years. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thurman Almond and Raymond Almond.
Friends may call on Friday, October 15, 2010, after 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010, at 12:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Harper Cemetery near Aid, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
