Lavaughn Lottie Stout, daughter of the late Harley Abernathy and Cleta Rickert Tolbert, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 26, 1933, and passed away at Health South Rehabilitation in Dothan, Alabama on July 21, 2015, at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 24 days. She had lived in Bloomfield, Poplar Bluff, and St. Louis before moving to Alabama. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Level Plains, Alabama. On December 3, 1994 she was married to David Stout in Daleville, Alabama. He survives in the home. Surviving are one son and daughter in law, David & Sandy Carrier of Old Monroe, Missouri; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may visit on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield with Rev. Ronnie Stevens of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
