Larry M. Sizemore of Dexter, son of the late Lemuel and Lorraine Goff Sizemore, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 23, 1949, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on October 18, 2016, at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 25 days.
Larry had moved from St. Louis to Dexter thirty years ago. He had been a self employed carpenter and painter. He enjoyed drawing and art, music, swimming and was a train enthusiast.
He was engaged to Maggie Barks and was to be married on October 22.
Surviving are his fiance', Maggie Barks of Dexter; three daughters, Cheryl Marlow of Puxico, Missouri, Laura Hicks of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Karen Robertson of East Alton, Illinois; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his aunt & uncle, Delores and Albert Schuenhoff.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
Private interment will be at a later date with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
