Kirk Ryan Stevens, son of Steve Stevens and LaDonna Devenport Glenn, was born in Cape Giardeau, Missouri on December 6, 1987, and passed away at his home in Williamsville, Missouri on May 5, 2014, at the age of 26 years.
Kirk had lived the Jackson area until moving to Poplar Bluff 1 ½ years ago, he moved to Williamsville six months ago. He was raised in the Pentecostal Church and had served in the U. S Marines with two tours to Iraq. He worked as a shift manager at McDonalds.
On April 11, 2014, he was married to Shelby Jean Scott in Butler County.
Surviving are his wife, Shelby Jean Stevens of Williamsville; his father & step-mother, Steve & Cindy Stevens of Marble Hill; mother & step-father, LaDonna & Jeff Glenn of Jackson; one step-daughter, Lexie Marie Scott of Williamsville; brother, Derik Stevens of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Odell & Margie Stevens of Marble Hill; maternal grandparents, Larry Devenport of Tucson, AZ & Esther Devenport of Quincy, IL; step-grandmother, Jean Glenn of Cape Girardeau; step grandparents, Ed & Becky Moore of Fruitland; mother in law, Carla Scott of Sikeston; father in law, Vernon Scott of Poplar Bluff; grandmother in law, Sherril Raymer of Bloomfield; stepbrothers, Jeffery B. Glenn, Jr. of Germany, Justin Glenn & Kody Moore both of Jackson; stepsister, Vyktoria Smith of West Frankfort, Illinois; sister in law and husband, Jessica & Mark Yeley of Williamsville. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his step grandfather, Jesse Glenn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014, after 12:30 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Graveside Funeral services will be on Monday, May 12, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
