Kenneth R. Tucker, son of the late Loren Tucker and Leona Wilburn Hunt, was born in LaValle, Missouri on June 12, 1939, and passed away at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 21, 2013, at the age of 74 years and 9 days.
He was raised in Southeast Missouri, lived in Joliet, Illinois for many years and moved back to Dexter in 1970. He had worked as a truck driver for many years and had served in the U. S. Army.
Surviving are two sons, Chris Tucker of Bristol, Rhode Island, Stephen Tucker of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren; and one brother, Curtis Curt Hunt of Dexter, Missouri. Other and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three sons, Ricky, Terry and Michael Tucker, and two brothers, Wayne and Doyle Hunt.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013, after 9:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Graveside Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
