On December 27, 1973, Kenneth was married to Arlessa Alice Dillinger of Dudley. She survives of the home. After serving four years in the Armed Forces, Kenneth and Arlessa returned to Dudley where they raised their two children.

Mr. Russell grew up farming and enjoyed being outside. He could be found working around outside in his shop or working in his garden. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed tinkering with any project.
Most of all, Kenneth loved his family. All three of his girls were the light of his life and his reason he worked so hard. He had a work ethic that was unmatched and he never failed to provide for his family.
As a young man, Kenneth gave his life to the Lord and was a member of Corinth General Baptist Church of Puxico where his mother was a life-long member. On October 25, 2015, Kenneth rededicated his life to the Lord during a Sunday morning service at Friendship Baptist Church where he attended.
The Lord called Kenneth home on Friday, November 13, 2015 as he was surrounded by those who loved him.
