Kathryn Elizabeth Chapin

Kathryn E. Chapin, the daughter of the late Cleve and Ida Whittington Orr, was born in Fairfield, Illinois and passed away at her home in Dudley, Missouri on September 23, 2006. Mrs. Chapin had been a resident of Kansas City, Missouri for many years before moving to Dudley in 2004. She was a member of the Holmeswood Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. On December 23, 1943, she was married to Lawrence E. Chapin. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence E. Chapin of Dudley, Missouri; two sons, Thomas R. Meadows and Miles G. Meadows both of Dudley, Missouri; one daughter, Sharon M. Hill of Leawood, Kansas; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; one brother, Charles V. Orr of Dudley, Missouri; one sister, Peggy Dawes of Lees Summitt, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Margaret Cooper and Ina Richeson and three brothers John, Raymond and Carroll Orr. Private services are planned.
