Kathleen Bennett

Kathleen Bennett, daughter of Elizabeth Nolan Bennett and the late Verlin Hayes, was born in Wappapello, Missouri on September 6, 1956, and passed away at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on August 3, 2009, at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 27 days. Mrs. Bennett had lived in Wappapello before moving to Chaffee, Missouri twenty-five years ago. On February 14, 1975, she was married to Marvin Bennett in Puxico, Missouri. Surviving are her husband, Marvin Bennett of Chaffee, Missouri; her mother, Elizabeth Bennett of Chaffee, Missouri; one son, Andy Beau Bennett of Chaffee, Missouri; one daughter, Laura Lee Lacey of Scott City, Missouri; three grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Blyzes of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Hayes. Graveside funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Darren Baker of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery near Puxcio, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
