Julius P. "Jud" Bostic, son of the late Ben and Catherine Knuckles Bostic, was born in Lilbourn, Missouri on December 25, 1941, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on October 14, 2010, at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 19 days.
Mr. Bostic had lived in Bloomfield all of his life. He had worked for 25 years at Purolator in Dexter and was a truck driver. He had attended the Church on the Rock in Morehouse, Missouri and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
On May 25, 1965, he was married to Sheila Hess in Risco, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Sheila Bostic of Bloomfield, Missouri; two daughters, Paula Smith and Ashley Bostic both of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Chad Bostic of Bloomfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Dylon, Aaron & Jessica Bostic all of Bloomfield, Missouri; and one brother, Melvin Bostic of Sikeston, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday October 17, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday October 18, 2010 at 12:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, full Military Honors will be conducted, Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
