Judy Read

Judy L. Read, daughter of the late Troy and Gracie Turner Bradley, was born in Chaffee, Missouri on February 23, 1962, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 1, 2011, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 9 days. She had lived in Illinois for a time and has lived in Dexter the past 38 years. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter, Missouri. On February 14, 1991, she was married to Arthur Read in Dexter, Missouri. Surviving are her husband, Arthur Read of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Tina Boone of Bernie, Missouri; two grandsons; two sisters, Wanda Vallejo of Holcomb, Missouri and Cheryl Wilburn of Gideon, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Troy William Boone, one brother, Terry Turner and one sister, Tammy Saffell. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be held Thursday, Febraury 3, 2011, at 1:00 pm in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Marcus Geuin and Rev. Joe Geuin both of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
