Juanita Umfleet

Juanita Umfleet, daughter of the late Richard and Nora Pullum Gibson, was born in Dexter, Missouri on July 7, 1922, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on January 13, 2013, at the age of 90 years. She had lived in Bloomfield before moving to Dexter in 1946. She had attended the Second General Baptist Church since, 1946, and had volunteered at the Gospel Mission in Dexter for over 20 years. On December 6, 1950, she was married to Clifford Unfleet in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1967. Surviving are one daughter and spouse, Donna & Ronald Morgan of Dexter, Missouri; three grandchildren and spouse, Bradley and Shaina Morgan of Blytheville, Arkansas, Sarah Waggoner Grisham of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Beth Waggoner Bolton of Joplin, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Preston & Jacob Morgan of Blytheville, Arkansas and Savannah Mae Grisham of Poplar Bluff. Other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jules R. Gibson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Josh Carpenter of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
