Joyce Moore

Joyce Ann Smith-Moore of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, daughter of the late Orville and Gladys (Spear) Townsend born on November 08, 1942 in Acornridge, Missouri and passed away on May 31, 2022 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 79 years. Joyce attended The First General Baptist Church. She was a teachers aid for the Puxico School District for many years. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Joyce is survived by two sons Paul Jay (Dana) Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Jeffrey Ray (Linda Sue) Smith of Wappapello, Missouri; one daughter Jerrie Ann Ketcherside of Dexter, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Gladys Townsend, one son Timothy Allen Smith, her sister Rita Lou and her first husband Claude Raymond Smith. A host of family and friends also survive. Celebration of life will be held on Thursday June 09, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Rev.
