Joyce A. Gray
Joyce A. Gray, the daughter of the late James Robert and Sarah Melissa Ford Gray, was born in Marston, Missouri on July 22, 1945, and passed away at her home near Puxico, Missouri on April 9, 2005, at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 18 days.
She was a former resident of Marston, Missouri had lived in Puxico, Missouri the past 25 years. She was affiliated with the Baptist church, liked to garden, watch westerns and enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son: Terry J. Townsend of Puxico, Missouri, two daughters: Angela Proffer of Burfordville, Missouri, Joyce Jenkins of Dexter, Missouri, her companion and best friend: Virgil Bell of Puxico, Missouri, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers: Buck Gray of Fisk, Missouri, D. W. Gray of Jefferson City, Missouri, four sisters: Mary Gray and Betty Dodson both of Indiana, Margie Silman of Marston, Missouri, and Maggie Stocker of St. Louis, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico on Monday, April 11, 2005, after 6:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at 10:00 AM in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with services conducted by Stephen Watkins of Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico Missouri in charge of arrangements.
