Jo Adams, daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna Mazza Caruana, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 8, 1925, and passed away at the Cypress Point Health Care facility in Dexter, Missouri on December 9, 2007, at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 1 day.
Mrs. Adams had lived in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Dexter, Missouri in 1987. She was a member of the Hospital Auxilliary at Missouri Southern Healthcare and was of the Baptist faith. She had worked in real estate sales before she retired.
On December 18, 1971, she was married to Marvin Adams in St. Louis, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin Adams of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Clyde T. Schellenger of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Carolyn Poster of Dexter, Missouri; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Sam Caruana of Englewood, Colorado. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Chipp, and four brothers, Tony, Leroy, Joseph and Phillip Caruana.
There are no services scheduled.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield at a late date. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
