John Whitaker

John Doyle Whitaker, son of the late William and Helen Myers Whitaker, was born on July 17, 1961, in Malden and passed away at his home in Bloomfield on March 1, 2013, at the age of 51 years. John had lived in Bernie and Bloomfield most of his life. He had attended the Bible Tabernacle in Bloomfield. He had worked as a deck hand on a river boat and had his own tree service. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. In September of 1996,he married Jinnifer Doerschlen in Aquilla, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Jinnifer Whitaker of Bloomfield; three sons, Jack Whitaker, Sam Whitaker and Dustin Greer all of Bloomfield; two daughters, MacKenzie Roberts and Rebecca Davis both of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Lauran Davis & Nate Davis both of Charleston and Lennon Fuqua of Bloomfield; two brothers and eight sisters. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Reynolds. Friends may visit on Sunday March 3, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. David Wilson of Bloomfield officiating. Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
