John David Rupert

John David Rupert, was born in Pennslyvania on August 17, 1928, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Hospital in Dexter, on February 2, 2007, at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 15 days. Mr. Rupert was a former resident of Okalahoma but had resided in Dexter, Missouri the past five years. He was a member of the First Church Of God in Dexter and a member of the Stoddard County ARC. On April 17, 2002 he was married to Violet Wade at Dexter, Missouri. Surviving are his wife: Violet Rupert of Dexter, Missouri, four stepsons: James Wade and Randy Wade both of Dexter, Missouri, Mike Wade of DeSoto, Missouri and Bob Wade of Rossville, Georgia, two step-daughters daughters: Kathy Spruell of Dittmer, Missouri and Brenda Wade of Dexter, MIssouri, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2007, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Ray Rowland of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Armstead-Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
