John Ronald Lahmann, the son of Chester Roy, Sr. and Bonnie Belle McCrocklin Lahmann, was born in Sullivan, Missouri on October 14, 1963, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on June 16, 2007, at the age of 43 years, 8 months and 2 days. Mr. Lahmann had been raised in Sullivan, Missouri and had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri the past 16 years. He had worked as assistant plant manager with Paramount Hat Company in Dexter, Missouri and plant manager with Korber Hat Company in Fall River, MA for ten months until ill health forced his retirement. He also worked at Wheeler Steel in Morley, Missouri. He fought his illness for over ten years due to a miracle of God. On July 17, 1992, he was married to Barbara Christian in Dexter, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Lahmann of Bloomfield, Missouri; two sons, Dakota John Lahmann of Bloomfield, Missouri, Jessee Lee Lahmann of Sullivan, Missouri; two daughters, Sarah McCulley of Bloomfield, Missouri, Samantha Stotler of Bonne Terre, Missouri, his parents, Chester Roy and Bonnie Belle Lahmann of Sullivan, Missouri; one grandson due in August, Jaden Goins; four brothers, Chester Lahmann, Jr. of Somerset, Kentucky, Mark and Andy Lahmann both of Sullivan, Missouri, Jake Lahmann of Texas; and one foster daughter, Tina Bollinger of Bloomfield and three foster grandchildren, Lillie, Lexton and Lauren. Many other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Bob Wiggins of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
