John Autrey

John L. Autrey, son of the late William Andrew and Faye E. Autrey, was born in Essex, Missouri on August 7, 1949, and passed away at his home in Branson, Missouri on June 19, 2009, at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 12 days. Mr. Autrey had lived in Stoddard County , spent fifteen years in Washington, Missouri and had lived in Branson, Missouri the past two years. He had worked for the Intergram-Magna Factory before his retirement in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping, biking, spending time with his friends and family especially his grandchildren and studying his Bible. Surviving are one son, Stan Autrey of Milan, Tennessee; four grandchildren; one brother, James E. Autrey of Corpus Christi, Texas. Other relatives and friends also survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don D., Bill D. and Richard Autrey. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, after 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 2:30 PM at the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements. Full Military Rites will be supplied by Missouri Military Honors and American Legion Post 59 of Dexter, Missouri.
