Joe Henry Cunningham, son of the late Charles Asa and Flora Pearl Reynolds Cunningham, was born in Bernie, Missouri on July 31, 1934, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid, Missouri on September 18, 2009, at the age of 75 years, 1 months and 18 days.
Mr. Cunningham had lived in Parma most of his life. He had attended the Church of God in Parma, Missouri. He was retired from Brown Construction in Dexter, Missouri.
On January 13, 1954, he was married to Lillian Inez Tindle in Hernando, Mississippi.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian Cunningham of Parma, Missouri; three daughters, Vicky Wagner and Lisa Hinds both of Elkton, Kentucky, DeDe Riddle of Parma, Missouri; one son, Phillip Cunningham of New Madrid, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four brothers, Bud Cunningham of Sikeston, Missouri, Arch Cunningham of Lovington, New Mexico, Bill Cunningham and Jack Cunningham both of Wappapello, Missouri; two sisters, Blanch Adams of Baltimore, Maryland and Normalene Hart of Puxico, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Burnett.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 3:00 PM at the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Dean Medlin of Parma, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
