Jim Mize

Jim Mize Jim Mize, 71, of Adel, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 7, 1940 in Morley, Missouri to the late William "Bill" Marcus and Mary Kathryn Irvin Mize. He lived in Florida and Missouri for most of his life, moving to Adel in 2005. He was a retired financial analyst for Pratt Whitney and also retired from Arvin Automotive. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and served in the National Guard. Mr. Mize was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Mize. He is survived by his wife, Diana Mize of Adel; son, Mark Mize of Santa Rosa, Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri MizeTate and husband Jimmy of Dexter, Missouri and Julie Mize Presley and husband Kevin of Sikeston, Missouri; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Karen Yearwood of Virginia. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011, at 6:00 PM at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Father David Doghne officiating.
