Jessie Pullum

Jessie Pullum Jessie Pullum, the daughter of the late Jessie Van and Clara Ellen Carniton White, was born in Malden, Missouri on November 18, 1924, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on April 25, 2009, at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 7 days. Mrs. Pullum had lived in Essex most all her life. She was of the Baptist faith. She was married to Willie Alvin Pullum on February 8, 1947 in Bernie, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1995. Surviving are two sons: Tommy Lee Pullum and Bobby Joe Pullum both of Essex, Missouri. One daughter: Shelby Jean O'Brien of Essex, Missouri. Four grandchildren; Twelve great grandchildren; and two sisters Bea Sipes of Kansas City, Kansas and Lurene Whitner of St. Louis, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She is preceded in death by One daughter Norma Jean Pullum and five sisters and three brothers Friends may call on Monday, April 27, 2009, from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 2:00 PM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home In Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Gary Gilbert of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
