Jessie Jean Plunkett

Jessie Plunkett Jessie Plunkett, the daughter of the late Sherman and Vada Wisdom Biggs, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 10, 1932, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter, Missouri on September 4, 2005, at the age 73 years, 1 month and 26 days. Mrs. Plunkett had lived in Poplar Bluff and moved to Dexter 38 years ago. She had worked as a clerk and bookkeeper at an insurance office and at area banks. She was married to Kenneth Plunkett in 1970. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Plunkett of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Scott Bass of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, David Biggs of Anchorage, Alaska; and one sister, Lynda Bowman of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Private graveside services for the family will be held in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
