Jerry Dean Holigan, the son of the late Harl and Inez Clinton Holigan, was born in Puxico, Missouri on January 22, 1933, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on March 30, 2008, at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 8 days.
Mr. Holigan had lived in Puxico, Missouri most of his life. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 7822 in Puxico, Missouri. He was a member of the United Association BTJ Pipefitters. His hobbies included reading and playing pool.
On June 29, 1998, he was married to Donna Wickham in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Holigan of Puxico, Missouri; one son, Matt Holigan of Puxico, Missouri; two daughters, Dawn Mueller of DeSoto, Missouri, Bobbie Jamboretz of Arnold, Missouri; five grandchildren; one brother, Harold Holigan of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Freda Stephens of Puxico, Missouri. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Holigan and Marlene Dunlap.
Friends may call on Monday, March 31, 2008, after 5:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Duckcreek Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
