Jeffery Glenn Womack
Jeffery Glenn Womack, the son of Tom Ford and Elizabeth McKibben Womack, was born in Sikeston, Missouri on December 24, 1952 and passed away at his residence in Chaffee, Missouri on July 31, 2006, at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 7 days.
Mr. Womack had lived in various cites in Missouri serving with the Missouri Highway Patrol. He had retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2003 after serving the state for 25 years. Two years ago he and his wife moved to Chaffee where he was serving as Chief of Police. He also served on the Jackson Police Department for 2 years. Mr. Womack served in the Air Force for four years.
On December 30, 1973 he was married to Marva Morgan in Parma, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Marva Womack of Chaffee, Missouri; One son: Jeffery Adam Womack of Goldsbrough, North Carolina. Two daughters: Dottie Franklin of Perryville, Missouri and Christina Griffin of Columbia, South Carolina. His father and mother Tom and Elizabeth Womack of Lilbourn, Missouri. Two brothers: Thomas Hale Womack of Sisters, Organ and Kenneth Wayne Womack of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at 10:00 A.M. at the Missouri County Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Dr. Bill Reed of Liburn, Missouri and Rev. Robert Blakely, Chaplian of the Chaffee Police Department, of Chaffee Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri. With full Military Honors. Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
