Janice Leona Rushin, daughter of the late Wilmur Belford and Viona Menda Wilburn Walker, was born in Parma, Missouri on September 16, 1951, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 8, 2013, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 23 days.
She had lived in Parma and Bloomfield, Missouri most of her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Spirit and Truth Worship in Bloomfield, Missouri.
In 2008, she was married to Steve Rushin in Bloomfield. He survives in the home.
Surviving are one daughter, Tammy Sperino of Dexter; two sons, Doug and Darren Martin of Dudley; twenty one grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three brothers, Mike Brown of Bloomfield, Delbert Brown of Goldendale, Washington, Gary Brown of New Madrid; two sisters Carol Heflin of Jackson, Missouri and Debbie Jaynes of Oakgrove, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Patrica Watson and Sandra Brown; and one grandson, Douglas Alan Martin Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 5:00- 8:00 PM. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Jim Traughber of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating and Bro. Tim Russell of Dexter, Missouri assisting.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
