James Sykes

James Michael "Mike" Sykes, son of James and Sharon Janet Harvey Sykes, was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on April 1, 1965, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on August 2, 2010, at the age of 45 years, 4 months and 1 day. Mr. Sykes had lived in Collinsville, Illinois before moving to Dexter, Missouri in 2009. He was a member of the Collinsville Jaycee's and the Eagles Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are one daughter, Fallon Sykes of Collinsville, Illinois; his parents, James & Sharon Sykes of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Terry Sykes of Kansas City, Kansas and Roger Sykes of Sahaurita, Arizona. Other relatives and friends survive. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 6, 2010, at 10:00 AM at the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
