James E. Ross James E. Ross, the son of the late Edgar and Adelia Brennecke Ross, was born in Parma, Missouri on November 13, 1929, and passed away at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri on May 19, 2005, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 6 days. Mr. Ross was retired from the Tribune as a printer. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and avid book reader. He was a very talented artist. He loved life and was a wonderful family man. His kids and grandkids were his joy. He had many friends and loved ones. People that didn't get to know him missed a blessing. On July 1, 1959, he was married to Louise Greene in Parma, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Louise Ross of Columbia; three sons, James Timothy Ross of Columbia, Missouri, Edward Anthony Ross of Grovespring, Missouri, Daniel Alan ross of San Francisco, California; one brother, Albert Ross of Portageville; two sisters, Dorothy Ahman of Bakersfield, California, Catherine Kelso of Doniphan, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Andy, Alex, Mason, Olivia, Jonathan, Ethan, Adelia and Ella; and one great grandson, Jacob. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer, Raymond, Bill and Sam Ross and one sister, Ella Marie Cole. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2005, at 2:00 PM in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri. Interment will follow in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
