James W. Patrick, son of the late Joe Thomas and Rhoda Evelyn Patrick, was born in Avert, Missouri on December 9, 1921, and passed away a his home in Bloomfield, Missouri on September 13, 2010, at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 4 days.
Mr. Patrick lived in Bloomfield most of his life. He was a wood worker at Rowe Furniture in Morehouse, Missouri until 1987, when he retired as a supervisor. Mr. Patrick was also a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge #153.
On August 18, 1945, he was married to Hazel Mae Johnson in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Surviving are two sons, James Randall Patrick of Festus, Missouri, Mickey Patrick of Bloomfield, Missouri; three daughters, Linda Patrick of Bloomfield, Missouri, Alice Patrick of Puxico, Missouri, Evelyn Green of Dexter, Missouri; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Julia Moore of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Leibman.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, after 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 1:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Susan Hoyle of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
